This preliminary design for an expansion rink  was a multi faceted project commissioned by Desert Youth Hockey Association to expand Oceanside Ice Arena  to service the Desert Youth Hockey program.  It also provides facilities for NCAA play for Arizona State University Hockey Team.   The design provides seating for 3,000 fans.  Service spaces are included for off-ice training, restaurant and bar, coaches' offices and dedicated team locker rooms.   The design features unobstructed full view seating for all fans.
